Enabling Robust Biomanufacturing Through Systematic Understanding of Single-Use Systems and Stringent Process and Raw Material Controls

Single-use technologies have been proven effective and widely used for biologics manufacturing. In the past 10 years, WuXi Biologics has successfully manufactured over 2000 batches of drug substances utilizing single-use bioreactors for clinical supplies or commercial products including 1.5+ tons of neutralizing antibodies for Covid-19. This webinar will share several case studies or challenges observed in recent years related to single-use bag materials, media filtration, and media storage bags, as well as raw material contaminations by trace metals. Importantly, the webinar will summarize our thoughts and strategies to deal with the challenges and make our biomanufacturing more robust.
